About
NOOM was founded in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2017 by industrial designer Kateryna Sokolova and entrepreneur Arkadii Vartanov — two creatives united by a shared conviction that everyday objects should be both emotionally resonant and built to last. Sokolova, a graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and winner of the 2015 Red Dot Design Award, brought her deep design expertise to the venture, while Vartanov contributed a decade of production experience through his workshop Postformula Craft. Together they built not just a brand, but an entire creative ecosystem — from concept to execution, entirely in-house.
