Classicism of the Future
"To be timeless you have to think really far into the future, not next year, not in two years, but in 20 years minimum."

Since graduating as an interior designer at ENSAAMA – Olivier de Serres in 1993, Nicolas Aubagnac has been pushing his creativity in different directions. In 1997, his desire to dedicate himself to his work without constraints led him to create his own agency with Delphine Read, presenting a collection of lighting. In 2002, he gained international attention for the first time for his exhibit at PAD (Paris Art + Design) and his work has been seamlessly blending Art Deco influences with contemporary sensibility. His training and his knowledge of Architecture and Decorative Arts nourish his creations. The artist uses timeless and fundamental geometrical shapes and gives his creations clean lines with beautiful proportions. Known initially as an interior and lighting designer, Aubagnac now works across furniture, objects, and interior architecture.
