Mernøe is a family-run lighting studio founded in 2020 in the Østerbro neighbourhood of Copenhagen. The company designs lamps using classic materials — brass, mouth-blown glass, natural stone and hand-finished metals — and produces them locally by order, ensuring each piece receives the attention of skilled Danish craftsmen.

Rooted in the Scandinavian tradition of clean geometry and warm materiality, Mernøe's designs balance sculptural presence with functional restraint. The studio's approach is deliberately intimate: small production runs, direct relationships with artisans, and a commitment to materials that age gracefully over time. Every lamp is conceived as a lasting object rather than a disposable fixture.
