Glass Art & Sculptural Vessels
"Glass is a living material that captures light and transforms space into poetry."
Marcantonio Brandolini d'Adda is a 'true Venetian' — an artist, designer, and CEO and art director of Laguna~B. Town & Country memorably dubbed him 'The Barefoot Count of the Grand Canal.'
Laguna~B was founded by his mother, Marie Brandolini, in 1994. Marcantonio has taken the company in a contemporary direction, with Archive of Objects noting his 'disruptive approach to Murano glass.'
Beyond Laguna~B, Brandolini d'Adda is a sculptor who experiments with cotissi di vetro (glass waste). Berggruen Arts & Culture at Palazzo Diedo notes his artistic practice centres on the experimentation of various sculptural techniques using glass waste.
