Architecture & Interior Design
"For each project I adopt an architectural approach: I create a simple and functional plan, which I then elaborate."
Glenn Sestig graduated from the Henri Van De Velde institute in Antwerp and in 1999 established a practice together with painter Bvardk. In a 2025 interview with Wallpaper*, he revealed he was close to pursuing a career in fashion before turning to architecture — an intersection that continues to inform his work.
'Each project is like a small city to me,' Sestig told ArchDaily. His work consistently reveals itself in what ArchDaily described as 'tidy fragments of robust and determinately monumental geometry.' From the outset, his practice has focused on extreme precision and mastery of the architectural line, proportions, and perspective.
South Hill Home notes that his furniture designs share the same qualities as his architecture — 'contemporary chic' defined by 'such mastery that it is easy to forget the careful consideration that will have gone into their design.'
Sestig's furniture designs extend the precision of his buildings into domestic scale, and he has collaborated with brands such as Morobé, representing a convergence of architecture and fashion.
