Anthony Guerrée is a French designer whose furniture combines emotional warmth with honest craftsmanship and refined, sculptural proportions. Based in France, Guerrée approaches his work with the eye of an interior designer — considering not just the form of each piece but how objects relate to one another and to the spaces they inhabit.

His creative process begins with the human body. The exhibition Posture(s), held at Archik in Marseille in 2023, retraced his research into 'the seat' — functional furniture that orientates, by its conception and design, the posture that one adopts while sitting. Each chair and armchair emerges from an observation of how people hold themselves: leaning forward in conversation, reclining in contemplation, perching on the edge of an encounter.
