Andrea Claire Studio was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2011. Drawing on her talents in both art and architecture, Andrea created a customisable, scalable, sustainable, sculptural lighting system. She earned her MFA at California Institute of the Arts and a BFA and B.Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design.

Andrea was inspired to create her lighting line after years of working with architect Frank Gehry. She has done artist residencies at the Chinati Foundation, the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and the Vermont Studio Center. The female-owned studio has become a trusted partner to interior designers and architects around the world, creating eco-conscious, modern lighting that is sustainable, sculptural, and wholly unique in design.
