Adrien Messié is a French designer and artistic director whose practice moves fluidly between furniture, objects and brand collaborations. His creative journey began in 2004, when he joined the legendary Andrée Putman studio in Paris, eventually becoming director of editions and licences — overseeing product collaborations with prestigious international brands and publishers.

After seven years at Putman's side, Messié had absorbed a rigorous approach to materiality, proportion and the art of restraint. In 2012, he channelled that foundation into a project of radical simplicity: LE GRAMME, a jewellery brand built around functional objects whose names derive from their weight. Co-founded with his partner, the brand rapidly gained a cult following, attracting collaborations with Rapha, Maison Kitsuné and Apple.
